Third Site of Ecole St-Thomas-d'Aquin - 1392 Village Road
The school has had many sites and expansions over the years as summarized below:
• 1887 – On the eastern shores of Lake Nosbonsing in shared premises with the chapel.
• 1892 – At la pointe à Tobie Rochefort on Lake Nosbonsing's north shore.
• 1903 – At 1340 Village Road, the home that would later be known as the Bessettes.
• 1920 – A new school below the Rochefort Hotel, the school burnt in 1937.
• 1937 and 1943 – In temporary locations on Village Road.
• 1937 – A new school right across from the church, the school burnt in 1943.
• 1943 – The school is rebuilt on the same foundation.
• 1951 – An addition is built to accommodate new students following the amalgamation with the Coin St. Jean and Big Moose Road schools.
• 1963 – An addition with three new classrooms is built.
• 1971 – A "new section" is added that included a library, a gymnasium, a principal's office, a teacher’s lounge, an infirmary, a guidance office and a garden.
• 2014 – The Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord announced the relocation of the school to its current location
