Spruce Tree and Time Capsule - 1389 Village Road
The spruce tree that grows in front of the church was planted in 1996 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Les Filles de la Sagesse’s presence and influence in the village. The cement structure on the church grounds is a replica of the church demolished in 1966 and the cross on it is the original cross from the old building. This structure, a time capsule, was unveiled at the parish’s 100th anniversary celebrated in 2002 and is to be opened in 2102.
