Highland Camp - Road beside 1426 Village Road
The road used to lead to Highland Camp that was built by Clementine and Oscar Rochefort and later was sold to the Cassidy and then the Leclair families. While the Dionne Quintuplets spurred the creation of a number of camps on Lake Nosbonsing, avid anglers and hunters had long been coming to the area. Tourism related to fishing, hunting and trapping have long provided residents with living.
