Agricultural Society of the Township of Ferris Exposition Grounds
Formed in 1890, the Agricultural Society held an annual Exposition of Agriculture on the property of either Edmond Rochefort or Hector Perron. The event encouraged settlers to raise better animals and produce quality vegetables. It showcased homemade quilts, rugs and other crafts. Prizes were awarded for the best horses, best dairy products and best handicrafts.
